talk about Texas

We're a bit fond of drives in the country. (Driving Myles crazy)

After visiting Paul's family in Armidale over Easter, we decided to take some 'roads less travelled' in getting home to Brisbane.

Excitement as we enter Texas, Queensland

Amazing what you find on the side of the road.

Cotton blown in from the fields. It's all over the place.

..... and as Anzac Day approached, a memorable Memorial Hall.

My best cowpoke stance in front of the gorgeous Art Deco Hall

Apparently they're kind to Bikies as well..... unlike the forced legislation for the rest of Queensland.
So supportive
We're only sorry now that we forgot to take a photo of the Historic Rabbit Processing Plant.
You would really have enjoyed seeing that.

  1. Would the rabbit processing plant have been used for Akubra hat making too? They used rabbit fur, I believe.
