felt Summer, like everyone else.

As the Xmas paraphernalia came down, it was time to replace the Xmas door wreath with the Summer one.

Of course the soaring temperatures left us in no doubt it was a Qld Summer.

Paul and Myles seemed a trifle confused as they headed out at midday to test out Paul's old canoes. Something to do with the tide I'm told, as they were exploring our local Bulimba Creek.

They assured me it was cooler on the creek.

It can't have been too bad as Paul had time to take photos along the way.

The voyage was voted a success, although one of the canoes did leak severely.
The bailing did provide further upper body workout though, so wasn't a complete waste I'm told.
